Keeping in touch

We aim to establish strong partnerships with parents and carers and we would like you to be involved with your child’s journey as much as possible. We have different events throughout the year and we are here if you have any questions or concerns, so please do get in touch with us.

Tapestry

At NCEA Trust we use an app called Tapestry to record the learning and experiences of children in Early Years and Year 1. It is also a useful way of sharing information between parents and carers and school. Parents need an email address to access their child’s journal and also need to agree to certain rules around the use of the photographs and assessments.

How to access Tapestry

Click here to download our handy user guide to Tapestry – This is a link for parents to help you find out more about your child’s learning and development and what sort of things they may be doing at different ages.

Useful Websites to help your child’s learning from home

  • Phonics Play (Free games only)
  • Cbeebies Numberblocks
  • Top Marks
  • ICT Games
  • Try the ‘Teach your Monster to Read’ app too (They often makes this free in the App Store!)
